With many years in Maintenance and Production in hands-on and management roles, Mick Windsor brings a wealth of experience to your company by means of Business Analysis and Process Mapping and Training, improving the effective use of SAP. This knowledge is invaluable for SAP implementations and consolidating current SAP systems. Focusing on maintenance processes from a business perspective, system support and management ownership via the business’ strategic direction, Mick as a guest speaker at the 2003 Mastering SAP Plant Maintenance conference, delivered a paper on “Creating an Effective Maintenance Business”. He was pleased to be Chairman at the 2004 conference. Mick has also been a contributing author for the book Maintenance Benchmarking and Best Practices written by Ralph Peters and presented two workshops at the Reliability Centred Maintenance Managers & EAM conference in Honolulu in April 2007.

Mick’s experience, leadership ability, business knowledge and training skills has allowed him to be a key player in improvement teams with various companies that have set the policy and direction for Plant Maintenance. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing business processes and change management strategies and improving SAP utilisation.

As a consultant and contractor, MickWindsor has worked with major companies including WMC Resources as the Configuration Analyst in Perth and at the Olympic Dam Mine and Minerals Processing Plant as the Maintenance Business Process Analyst, providing SAP expertise to the site. This included business analysis and process mapping, of which development of costing and budget procedures with the Finance team for the new major maintenance contractor was one.

Mick has also been a Manufacturing Manager with site responsibilities for a major food company where all site functions reported up to him including HR, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality and Supply chain groups.
