Mick Windsor Managing Director

With 30 years in Maintenance and Production in hands- on and management roles, Mick Windsor brings a wealth of experience to your company by means of consultation in Asset Management & Reliability, Business Analysis and Process Mapping and Training and as a SAP Certified Solution Consultant – PLM. He is also a thermographer, trained at the University of Melbourne. This knowledge is invaluable for Business Improvement / Business Re-engineering projects, SAP implementations and consolidating current SAP systems and focusing on maintenance processes system support and planning from a business perspective, to meet the business' strategic direction.

• As a guest speaker at the 2003 Mastering SAP Plant Maintenance conference, Mick delivered a paper on "Creating an Effective Maintenance Business" and he was pleased to be Chairman at the 2004 conference.
• Invited to be a contributing author for the book "Maintenance Benchmarking and Best Practices – A Profit and Customer Centred Approach" written by Ralph W (Pete) Peters. Pete is the President of the Maintenance Excellence Institute in America.
• He was invited to present two papers at the highly prestigious Reliability Centred Maintenance Managers and Enterprise Asset Management conference in the USA in April, 2007.

Mick has worked at all levels in Maintenance and operations from Tradesman through to senior management roles and includes, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Strategist, Reliability Superintendent, Production Coordinator, Manufacturing Unit Manager and SAP Certified Solution Consultant.

This deep business experience ensures he delivers practical, sensible solutions that will work and be accepted at all levels especially on the shop floor. He has been in many SAP implementations and upgrades and has delivered successful business improvement solutions at many of Australia’s major companies.

• Degree qualified mechanical engineer with some design engineering experience
• Experienced engineer with over 12 years track record in the management of physical assets to achieve outputs of enterprises.
• Experience in achieving plant capacity and plant performance gains through reliability engineering techniques.
• Significant experience in preventive maintenance strategy development for preventing/ mitigating equipment functional failures.
• Maintenance management systems improvement and maintenance planning skills.
• Work history ranging from ‘hands on’ to conceptual and engineering feasibility - in a range of industries including nuclear power, natural gas, mining and manufacturing.
